16Mhz Crystal Fuse Bit Configuration

Below is a screenshot of how to configure the fuse bits for an ATmega32 with a 16 MHz external crystal using PonyProg2000. There are lots of other programmers such as Avrdude, but I thought that PP2000 was the easier one to use.

The options used here are those described in previous sections and highlighted in green.

As it turns out for my development system, which uses a 16 MHz external crystal, there should be only two boxes checked, BOOTSZ1 and BOOTSZ0. The rest of the boxes should be unchecked. This will provide the same settings that are shown in the previous sections and highlighted in green.
