Removing VAD8041 Tray Cover

In order to remove the HDRW720 DVD ROM Drive (VAD8041/01), one must first open the tray to remove the tray cover, which is the lip part on the edge. Unfortunately, if your DVD ROM Drive is no longer operational, then chances are that the tray will not open. In this event, you will have to engage the emergency tray release lever shown in the following article. Once the tray is out, one can then remove the cover.
