NAD T512 Inside Look



Compared to the Marantz CD6000 OSE, this player is much lighter, because it has a switched mode power supply instead of a regular transformer.

The switched mode power circuitry appears to be a very simple and straightforward design. All the components are very good quality. The voltage regulators have control gates, which is nice, as it shows that this unit consumes negligible power when not in operation.



There is this large board called the PC Board, which is connects onto the main motherboard. This board takes care of all the digital processing of the DVD player.
