Panasonic SA-BTT270 Back Sockets
Each speaker wire requires a special two-pin plug to connect to the audio amplifier output. I did not have the original speakers or their wires hence I made my own wires using crimp plugs. The only speakers I had for testing were a pair of old JPW monitors and it sounded very impressive.
The SA-BTT270 also has an HDMI A/V output socket for connecting to a compatible TV.
As you can see, there is a digital input connection so one can connect the optical audio output from a SKY box, and listen to the audio in surround sound mode. Alas, I do not have SKY because I do not watch wireless television broadcasts.
