The 24C02 is a serial flash memory IC manufactured by many firms such as Samsung, National Semiconductors, and Atmel. As a result there will be a prefix code to the chip, KS for Samsung, BN for National Semiconductors, and AT for Atmel. The last two digits represent the memory capacity in kilobits; and they can be 01, 02, 04, 08, and 16. This chip comes in many packages such as TSSOP8, SO8, and PDIP8 to name a few.
