Mykit System 5 Crystal Radio

I built the crystal radio and was impressed with the reception. The two-transistor radio was also very impressive with good selectivity and sensitivity. The AM ferrite coil and variable tuning capacitor make a good tuned circuit that works well, and the germanium transistors and diode perform extremely well. If you are experimenting with crystal radios, then you should try using the 2SA52 or equivalent for the first stage amplification.
