6 Band Resistor Colour Code Calculator

This is a 6-band resistor calculator, which decodes colour bands to a numeric value. It uses the IEC Resistor Colour Code Standards as per EN 60062:2005, documented in the portable document file. In a six-band system, the first three bands represent the significant digits, the fourth band is the multiplier, the fifth band is usually the tolerance, and the sixth band represents temperature coefficient. These resistors are usually used in high precision temperature critical applications.
