Apple G3 with Dell Motherboard

Once the standoff positioning are according to the ATX standard, it is quite easy to fit other ATX motherboards. The current PC motherboard is from a Dell Optiplex 170L. This was not a motherboard of choice, nor would I ever normally consider such a motherboard, however I happened to come across one. Originally, it had a 2.6 GHz Celeron, which I later upgraded to a 3 GHz Pentium 4 with hyper-threading technology.
I managed to find the aluminium heatsink that attached to it using four nuts and a bolt; however, I did not have the cooling fan or the plastic shroud that went over it. It is just as well as there was no room to fit it anywhere.
With the side panel closed, there is an 8 mm gap between the PSU and the heatsink, hence the I decided to attach the fan to the side. With the bulkhead shelf removed, there is plenty of room for the memory cards.
