RQ-445 Radio

The National Panasonic RQ-445 radio section uses three 2SC1359A transistors. One transistor is for the oscillator / mixer, one in the first IF stage, and one in the second IF stage. The radio and the tape recorder share the same audio amplifier section. These early radios were ahead of their time and highly sensitive, even with three transistors.
