RT-6035 Radio Design

The radio section of this boombox uses the TA73538, and TA7757 integrated circuits manufactured by the Toshiba Corporation. I thought that the performance of the radio was very good, as it usually is with this chipset. This Toshiba chipset is also used in Walkmans with radios, and consequently they perform very well.

The TA7757P is the FM/AM intermediate frequency (IF) integrated circuit.

The TA73538P is the FM front-end that Toshiba usually implements in portable radio applications.
