Aiwa TPR-132K

The TPR-132K (also TPR-132) was a 4-band radio cassette recorder manufactured by the Aiwa Corporation in approximately 1980. It was mid-range radio-cassette with manufacturing origin in Singapore. It is a nice compact size with dimensions 300 mm × 259 mm × 87 mm, and mass 2.85 kg, which is just ideal to take to the beach or a picnic.

Cost/eBay

In 1981, these units were available for sale at Boots the Chemists for the sum of £33.99. However, taking inflation into account, and the fact that these are no longer in production, a good working one in mint condition would cost over a hundred pounds today.

This particular Aiwa model is rare and I have never seen one for sale on eBay, nor is there much information about it on the Internet.
