TRK-1255ER

Hitachi TRK-1255ER, also known as TRK 1255, was an IC Variable Monitor FM/SW/MW/LW Radio Cassette Recorder manufactured in Japan in 1974. This is a 4-band Japanese radio cassette, which at the time was for the mid-range of the radio cassette market. They built it with a high standard of finish, it is heavy without batteries, and has a huge number of sockets at the side. The sound quality is very good because you can expect 2.8-watts output from a 10 cm diameter speaker. This model has a mains power selector switch in the battery compartment for selecting between 220 V and 240 V. The unit dimensions are 8½-inches × 12 5/8-inches × 3 7/16-inches, and mass 7 lbs 8 oz with batteries.
