Shure V15V Series Stylus Equivalent

The Shure V15V series cartridges usually required the VN5MR stylus, which was an equivalent upgrade. I only collect the V15VxMR, which in my opinion was the best sounding cartridge of my time. It usually came with a VN5xMR stylus, which was a micro-ridge type. Although discontinued, you might find some new old stock in places such as eBay, worth getting. I started collecting the V15VxMR because the sound it produces is significantly better than anything I have heard before or since. It has a frequency response of 10 Hz to 25000 Hz, which means that if you use it with a good pair of speakers and amplifier, then the sound reproduction will be extremely accurate. You will hear the low bass and the high treble definition with ease.
