Sony MDR-ZX310 Replacing Ear Pads

Replacing the MDR-ZX310 ear pads is very simple and begins with locating two screws that hide under the pads. Once you undo these, the front panel comes off, and the pads can then easily pull off allowing you to replace them with new ones. I took mine completely apart so you get a better idea of their construction, and how the pads fit.

Notice that the wire retention system uses a knot, so make sure it is in the correct location between the forks when you place the front panel on again.
