Nakamichi AV-8 Speaker Protection System
The Nakamichi AV-8 speaker protection system is based around µPC1237HA (U401) IC, which controls the speaker output relays for all the channels. This IC checks to determine if there are any high voltages from the audio power output circuits. If there are, then the relays will not engage, and therefore it protects the speakers.
