Philips EL-3302 / Philips EL-3302A

The Philips EL-3302 has two drive belts. There is a large one, and a smaller one. On this unit, both had perished and turned into a liquid form. Replacement belts are of course expensive; however, I keep an assortment of belts from different places and managed to find equivalents, which worked.

Capstan Flywheel

The pulleys on this unit are wide and can carry thicker belts; hence, the thickness is not so critical. The ones fitted here are thicker however; they work fine because they were the correct circumference. Thicker belts also transfer more torque, which is an advantage sometimes.
