300 in 1 Electronic Project Lab

The 300 in One (also known as 300-in-1) Electronic Project Lab is an educational kit, imported from China by the InterTAN Corporation. It has a console that is identical to the Maxitronix 300 in 1 kit, and also the Elenco MX-908 kit, with the same project circuits. The design is very interesting with spring terminals for the integrated switches, LEDs, speaker, transformer, and tuning control. However, the rest of the components such as the resistors, capacitors, and semiconductors, insert into the breadboard section.

Cost / eBay

The cheapest place to get this from is eBay as they usually have the largest stock of used and new labs. It is an extremely well made and popular console with a strong educational value, and there are many versions with names such as Maxitronix, Elenco, InterTan, and Science Fair. They appear to be identical with the same project circuits and are worth getting. Ideally, you want to get a new one, or one in a good condition that is complete. This is one of those kits to get when the dreaded school season starts, and provides a good incentive to learn something useful in the winter evenings.
