Sony WM-BF58 Sports Walkman

The Sony WM-BF58 Sports Walkman was one in a range of brightly yellow coloured cassette players that were waterproof. They tested it under more than 30 cm of water for more than 30-minutes to ensure it was watertight. The battery hatch, band selector switch, and tape selector switches, were inside the waterproof cassette compartment, which used a rubber gasket for the water seal.
