Electronic Engineering

The SA-GX370 was a state-of-the-art electronic design engineered at the Matsushita Electric factory in Japan, and therefore very few people understand its electronic operation even today. These amplifiers are complex to repair and require experienced engineers who understand the principles of trip circuits and protection algorithms. in the UK, majority of the "experts" are simply good at swapping boards and polishing the knobs.

This amplifier had been in the hands of several "experts" and each one left a small bit of damage that required repair before I could trace the original fault. A vintage amplifier that sounds nice is always worth the time and effort and I usually get them working.
