TDA2030A Audio Amplifier Kit Testing

The TDA2030A stereo audio amplifier sounds very clear and loud without any distortion, and if your computer has sound, then you should be able to hear a simulation. Make sure your PC volume is fully up. For the input signal, I am using a cassette player from my Vintage Walkman collection. It is a rare 80s Panasonic which provides a sharp and clear sound.

Testing Speakers

I decided to use a pair of mini speakers from a mini component system I had. These are very small bookshelf size speakers. This is an animated simulation of how much the speaker cone could move at full volume.

Hayley Westenra has the best voice for testing amplifiers. She has one of the most beautiful and powerful voices in the world, because when she hits that high note, it is so powerful that an amplifier chip can blow if it was incorrectly biased. In addition, you get to enjoy that beautiful angelic voice. I just love her version of Pie Jesu, which is the best and only version I would recommend to anyone.
