Palm Vx Factory Reset

The Palm Vx factory reset, also known as a "Hard Reset", erases all the data stored in the handheld, and restores it to the condition it was when new from the factory. You should note that this reset erases any addresses, notes, telephones, contacts, and programs that you may have in the memory. In short, it will erase everything; therefore, you must back up anything you wish to keep before performing this operation.

1. Flip over the device so that you can see the back.
2. Hold down the power button.
3. Whilst holding down the power button, insert a paperclip into the reset hole.
4. When the Palm Computing logo appears, release the power button.
5. A warning message appears to inform you are about to erase everything.
6. Press the UP button to complete the factory reset.
